OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christ-like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world in order to magnify God’s name.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the written record of His supernatural revelation of Himself to man, absolute in its authority, complete in its revelation, final in its content, and without any errors in its teachings.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17; Matthew 5:17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
WE BELIEVE that all men in their natural state are lost, alienated from God, and are spiritually dead.
(Ephesians 2:1-3; Romans 5:12; Psalm 51:5)
WE BELIEVE that salvation is only by grace, a free gift of God, through faith in the Lord Jesus, who died for our sins according to the Scripture and those who receive Christ by faith become children of God.
(Ephesians 2:8-9; St. John 1:12 & 3:16)
WE BELIEVE in One God, existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, and born of Mary, a virgin, and truly God and truly man, united in one person forever.
(Luke 1:30-35; Matthew 1:23; Galatians 4:4)
WE BELIEVE that at the moment of salvation, every Christian is baptized and sealed with the Holy Spirit forever.
(I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13-14 & 4:30)
WE BELIEVE in the “Eternal Security” of the believer, that it is impossible for one born into the family of God ever to be lost.
(St.John 10:27-30; 1 Peter 1:3-5; 1 John 5:9-13)
WE BELIEVE in “that blessed hope”- the personal, premillennial, pretribulational, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
(Acts 1:10-11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18 & 5:9)
WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved (heaven), and the everlasting punishment of the lost (hell).
(Revelation 20:6; St. John 5:25-29; 1 Corinthians 15:20)
WE BELIEVE that the ordinances of the church are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper; that baptism is by immersion and only for believers; and that the Lord’s Supper symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord.
(1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Romans 6:3-4)
WE BELIEVE in male leadership both in the church and in the home.
WE BELIEVE in Traditional Marriage which is the sacred union between one man and one woman forever.
(Genesis 1:27 & 2:24; Matthew 19:1-7)
